Pakistan Loses 1st Match In Disgraceful Manner

Pakistan loses 1st match disgracefully in Cricket World Cup 2019. Pakistan cricket team walked to 105 all out with at least half of the overs left whereas, West Indies won with seven wickets standing with 36.2 overs left.
Chris Gayle, the veteran great batsman emitted more runs off the edge than most of Pakistan’s players did in the first match against West Indies in the Cricket World Cup 2019.
Oshane Thomas, the fifth bowler of the West Indies bowling attack used in an all-seam attack on a batting friendly pitch of Nottinghamshire roared in to take four for 27.
Gayle scored 34-ball 50 runs to make the match one sided which could been a bit more interesting as Mohammad Amir Took some early wickets but this effort was of no use.
Imam Ul Haq was not active at the outfield and dropped a catch which could been easy to hold with a dive but he didn’t.
Pakistan cricket supporters who did not get the tickets were quietly relieved that they did not have to witness their team evacuating the magazine on senseless shots to rising short balls.
Oshane Thomas, who belongs to Melbourne Cricket Club in Kingston, from which Michael Holding and Courtney Walsh also played before they appeared into the greater game, made no apology for spending his morning bowling at Adam’s apples.
“You get two bouncers an over,” Thomas said, “And you’ve got to use them.”
Sarfaraz Ahmed stated that the toss was too significant: “That is why we wanted to bowl first. At the start we lost too many wickets. That’s why we didn’t come back into the game.”
Holder was not depending on the toss: “Well, that’s the time the cricket is supposed to start and I can’t control that. You know, the toss is 50-50, so I can’t have full control of that, either. It’s the same for both sides. Whether you bat or bowl in the first half of the game, you’ve got to look to do it and do it well.”
“First, we have to back ourselves and not think too much about what happened today,” Sarfaraz said. “That match is gone, so, IN SHAA ALLAH, we have the type of players who can win the next match for us. Inshallah, we will bounce back.”
Holder issued an oblique warning to opposing teams to expect what happened on Friday: “We want to be aggressive with whoever we’re playing against. It’s something we need to do in order to pick up wickets. With the modern-day game, if you are not picking wickets up throughout the innings you’re going to struggle to contain teams. So we want to be aggressive even if we give up a few runs up front trying to get wickets.

Pakistan Cricket at Its Worst in Cricket World Cup

0

[ad_1]

Today on 31st May 2019, Pakistan cricket was at its worst in Cricket World Cup history. The biggest defeat ever with 218 balls left for West Indies and they accumulated the target in just 13.4 overs. This was their biggest defeat in World Cup history and the most shameful one as well.
This is the largest margin of defeat for Pakistan in terms of balls remaining ih their first match of the Cricket World Cup 2019. In fact, in ODI cricket, they have agonized only one larger defeat, which also came against West Indies, in n 1993.
Today, it was the second lowest total of Pakistan in the history of the Cricket World Cup. Greens lowest was 74 against England in 1992 World Cup. However, it shall be noted that Pakistan shook that off and went on to lift the trophy in 1992, despite getting bowled out for 74 once and losing by 10 wickets in their first match against West Indies. But the Pakistan team in 1992 was a bunch of heroes unlike the present Pakistan cricket team.
Unfortunately, today Pakistan were clueless against the short stuff that West Indies’ dished out at Trent Bridge, though in 1992 it was the rainy conditions which lead to a 92 runs debacle.
7 Wickets lost by Pakistan batsmen to short or short-of-a-good length deliveries. They scored 55 off 68 such balls. Of the 130 balls bowled by the West Indies bowlers, 68 were short or short-of-a-good length, which is 52% of the total balls delivered. Jason Holder took 3 wickets, Andre Russell took 2, Sheldon Cottrell took 1 and Oshane Thomas picked up 1 out of seven wickets with such deliveries. Thomas picked three more wickets by hitting other lengths.
This I also a part of the history now that Pakistan Cricket Team has faced 11 consecutive defeats for Pakistan in completed ODIs. They lost four ODIs to England, five to Australia and one to South Africa before heading into the World Cup. This is their lengthiest losing band in ODIs. The former worst was ten straight losses in a row between October 1987 and March 1988.
All we can say and hope is the best for the team green in future but hopes are not good as this team is not at all like the heroes of 1992.

England 1st Win In Cricket World Cup 2019

England Wins First Match in Style and registers 1st Win in Cricket World Cup 2019. The final result was that England won by 104 runs with 10.1 overs to spare. Nonetheless, a resounding victory for the hosts.
The experts weren’t sure whether 311 was a good score – Graeme Smith said 310 would be par – but it turned out to be ample. That was a fanciful act by England in the field, in particular Jason Roy at backward point who must have stopped four or five boundaries with fascinating dives on the grassy field.
The preliminary impairment was done by Jofra Archer, most factually to Hashim Amla’s cranium. He took the wickets of Markram and du Plessis economically, before coming back to sack Rassie van der Dussen when he was set on 50, and he merited his figures of 3/27 from seven overs. For a period of about ten seconds, South Africa were darlings for that match, edging ahead on the win predictor the ball before Quinton de Kock gave his wicket away trying to lift Plunkett over cow corner for six but finding Joe Root. With de Kock joining du Plessis back inside, South Africa never really endangered, and England bashed off the remaining wickets comfortably; one apiece for Rashid and Ali, two for Plunkett and Stokes.

There were two outstanding moments from Ben Stokes in the field, the former surpassed by the latter. First, his run out of Dwaine Pretorius, rapidly picking up and revolving to throw in from the boundary and get him by inches. Second, one of the all-time great catches to sack Phehlukwayo.
South Africa will have the chance to correct their performance against Bangladesh here on Sunday, and England will play Pakistan at Trent Bridge the following day.
It was brilliant watching the inventors of the game on the top in their first appearance of this cricket World Cup 2019.

The Recipe in England For Pakistan Cricket Team

0

[ad_1]

Escaped unhurt from Ireland but things will not be that easy, for Pakistan batsmen, in England. The duke-ball will swing and seam but dealing with the moving ball is not an impossible task. When there is a will, there is a way and there are ways to manage the hardships in English conditions. Pakistan batsmen should be aware of their fourth stump, on the off side, and should try to play for the in-swing deliveries only. With the awareness of the fourth stump, the batsmen can be in a relatively better position to judge a wide delivery, away from stumps, and let it go.
The second most important trick is to meet the ball late and close to the body. Closer they play, from their bodies, easier it will be, for them, to avoid edges to the keeper & slip fielders. In every format of the game, partnerships are important however in Test matches, this aspect becomes imperative. In the absence of seasoned campaigners like Younis Khan and Misbah-ul-Haq, much of an onus is on Asad Shafiq and Azhar Ali.
Other batsmen too should try and form partnerships. Even small stands will matter and could make a difference in the end. With batsmen, the bowlers need to chip in as well. Even in the bowling-friendly environment, discipline is a must. Bowlers need to channelise their efforts and avoid short-pitched deliveries. They must make the batsmen play, to create chances for wickets.
The ball will swing for certain therefore it should be utilised by bowling wicket-to-wicket and make the batsmen play.Short ball will be of no use on those tracks because Pakistan doesn’t have an express fast bowler in their lineup.Even in Ireland, where Pakistan won, the bowling wasn’t up to the mark. On the other hand, the Ireland bowlers, although playing their first Test match, pitched the ball in the right channel and troubled Pakistan batsmen.
Fielding will also be one of the key factors on this trip. The environment in England is not easy for catching, because, often the ball is spotted late. Pakistan fielders need to focus because catches win matches.
All in all, Pakistan players need to apply themselves, in all departments of the game, to outsmart the hosts. It will not be easy, at this time of the year, but as they say when the going gets tough, the toughs get going.
Come on, Pakistan!
